These terms apply to the TRNE app and trne.org ("TRNE", "we"). By using TRNE you agree to them.
TRNE shows practical places for travelers — water, toilets, showers, campsites, RV services and more — and, step by step, ways to plan trips and meet hosts and other travelers. Most place information comes from OpenStreetMap and is improved by travelers.
Places change. A fountain can be dry, a campsite closed, a rule different from what is shown. Always check on the spot and follow local laws and signs. TRNE shows "unknown" when nobody knows; we never promise that a place is free, open, legal for overnight stays or safe. You use the information at your own risk.
You can use the map without an account. To create an account you must be at least 18 years old. If you sign in (email code, Apple or Google), keep access to your email or account safe. One person, one account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Delete account).
When you add a place, confirm whether a place is open, report a problem or write anything for others, it must be true to the best of your knowledge and must not be illegal, hateful, sexual, spam or about private people. You allow TRNE to show, store and adapt what you share so other travelers can use it. Place additions are reviewed before they appear.
Hosts, travel buddies, shared rides and the community board connect you with people you have not met. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions. Read profiles, meet in public first, trust your judgment, and use Report or Block on anyone who makes you feel unsafe — every report is reviewed, and accounts that put others at risk are suspended. The exact address of a host is shared only after the host accepts a request. TRNE does not handle payments and is not a party to arrangements between users. Never send money or ID documents to someone you met in the app.
Do not scrape the service, abuse the reporting tools, create fake accounts or try to break or overload TRNE. We may hide content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

We may update these terms as TRNE grows. If a change matters for you, we will show it in the app before it applies.
